How it works and what you'll need.....
To get the process started, your will be asked some questions about your current financial situation and required to submit some supporting documents:
These documents are all very important in the prequalification process. It's necessary that we get a clear picture of your circumstances so we can determine how best to help you.
The first "tip" to any successful workout plan is A COMPLETE PACKAGE.
Submission Checklist:
- Signed Hardship Letter Explaining Circumstances
- Provide a Photo ID (drivers license, state ID)
Employment and Income Information:
- Provide the LAST 2 MONTHS worth of paystubs:
If Weekly: 8 stubs
If Bi-Weekly: 4 stubs
- Provide the TWO MOST RECENT YEARS Tax Returns (include all pages)
- Provide the TWO MOST RECENT YEARS W2’s
Self Employed:
- YEAR TO DATE profit & loss statements & last year’s tax filing.
- Provide proof of any child support, alimony, retirement or other additional income.
Asset Information:
- Provide LAST 2 MONTHS bank statements, including checking and savings.
- Last statement for 401k, investment accounts, stocks, bonds, mutual funds.
Mortgage Information:
- Provide the last mortgage statement (1st and 2nd Mortgage) – any correspondence.
- Include tax and insurance information (if not already on the mortgage statement)
- Utilities & Monthly Expenses: (Provide most recent statement)
- Water Bill
- Gas/Electric Bill
- Phone/Cell phone bill
- Homeowner’s Insurance policy
- Homeowner’s Association bills/dues
- Cable/Internet
Installment Accounts: (Provide last monthly statement)
- Car loan (statements for each)
- Car Insurance
- Student Loan
- Credit cards, department store cards
- Job related expenses
- Childcare Expenses
*If applying for the government sponsored Recovery and Stability Act we will also need a recent copy of your credit report.
